Nestled in a grove of trees, the two-story cabin is quiet and private. It was completely reconstructed in 1995, taking care to preserve the historic 1820's rustic character while all the modern conveniences were added including a new kitchen and two new bathrooms, one with a whirlpool tub. Also updated was a new geo-thermal heating and air system to keep you cool and warm.
The O'Neal Log Cabin has two bedrooms, and can sleep six. One bedroom has a Lincoln double bed. The second bedroom has matching Cannonball beds: one queen and two twins. Bathrooms have thick, full-size towels, extras provided.
The den is complete with a large eight-foot-wide stone fireplace with an abundance of fire wood. There is a television with cable and VCR/DVD. The table in the cabin is the perfect size for a game of cards, or one of the many board games visitors will find for their use. Read a book on the full-size sofa or loveseat in the den.
Other features include a kitchen with full-size appliances: oven, dishwasher, microwave, and side-by-side refrigerator with ice/water in the door. A coffee maker and coffee are always ready to get your days off to a good start. Plates, cups, utensils, and cooking ware is supplied in case you want to stay in and cook.
